Begin your journey wish us as our ASSISTANT NIGHT MANAGER at the Westin/Four Points Brisbane. The Successful applicant must share our passion for delivering an unrivalled level of service to join our Front Office Team. You will need to be highly motivated in an environment where exceeding the expectations is the minimum standard. The Assistant Night Manager is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the hotel throughout the overnight shift.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Anticipate guest's needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates.
  • Co-ordinate Front Office operations during shift, including Front Desk, Communications, Concierge and Driveway to ensure guest service excellence and adherence to the Hotel's standards and procedures at all times.
  • Control and secure cash and cash equivalents for property according to cash handling policy and procedures. Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality policies and procedures. 
  • Prepare, audit and reconcile, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables. Audit and reconcile all revenue postings.
  • Complete Quality Assurance room inspections and regular property walks, ensuring that any maintenance needs are attended to on a timely basis.
  • Ensure adherence to hotel credit procedures and policies at all times, leading by example. 

The successful candidates will possess:

  • Tertiary qualification or proven relevant industry experience 
  • The drive to consistently deliver the very best
  • Ability to work a rotating roster with full availability 
  • Opera knowledge advantageous
